A large enterprise, spread across many locations and many projects — every site at a standstill, suppliers crowding the gate. My task was not to apportion blame, but to see the whole thing clearly again: to re-build every ledger, to separate what was owed from what was held, and to find the one path from total paralysis back to opening the doors again. We found it — the books were re-built, and the sites came back to life one by one.
